Some 15 minutes after the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies finish their game Saturday night, the grounds crew at Busch Stadium is tending to the field. Not for the next day’s contest, but the next one to be played on this particularly balmy night.
It’s 9 p.m., and there is, in fact, more baseball to be played.
