A win streak heading into district play is nothing to dismiss. And North Callaway Thunderbirds head coach Kevin O'Neal will take his team's sixth straight victory even if it wasn't as clean or decisive as he might have hoped.
"... I think we're on the right track right now," O'Neal said. "Hopefully we can continue to do that."
North Callaway jumped out early and then fended off two New Bloomfield rallies as the Thunderbirds bested the Wildcats 9-8 in the regular-season finale for both teams Thursday night.
