MOKANE — Jared Wood is a hardcore St. Louis Cardinals fan, so he didn’t hesitate with his answer.
South Callaway’s first-year baseball coach was contacted back in January by a former colleague, Salem superintendent Steve Carvajal, who wanted to gauge Wood’s interest in the Bulldogs playing a game against the Tigers at Busch Stadium.
