Fulton man arrested on drug charges

Tyrell T. Anderson, 26, Fulton, was arrested by Fulton Police on three drug charges after police responded to a report of a fight with weapons Friday night in the 800 block of Walnut Street in Fulton.

Police received the report of the disturbance at 9:23 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, several vehicles were leaving. Police stopped a silver Chevrolet driven by Anderson and he consented to a search of the vehicle.

Fulton Police reported they located "several baggies of marijuana packaged for sale, a small amount of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia, along with a large amount of money."

Police arrested Anderson on charges of distributing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anderson's total bond on the three charges was $30,000, which he posted Friday night and was released.
