Lady Hornets shut out Lady Eagles in opener

Fulton limits Southern Boone to just two shots in season-opening win

Ashland — Senior forward Erin Russell had the lone score for the Fulton Lady Hornets, who opened their season with a 1-0 win over the Southern Boone Lady Eagles on the road on Monday night. Russell’s strike came 30 minutes into the first half off a crossing assist from senior center midfielder Lola Weiss.
