The Westminster College Lady Blue Jays were tasked with containing the nation's most efficient 3-point shooting team in the first round of the NCAA Division III women's tournament.
And Westminster did an admirable job, holding No. 4 DePauw College - shooting 38.5 percent from long-range going into Friday night's game - to a woeful 7-percent showing (1-for-13). But that didn't prevent the Lady Tigers from muscling up on the Lady Blue Jays down low and winning the game inside the paint.
Westminster -Â making its first-ever Division III tournament appearance - was outscored 27-8 by DePauw in the game's final 12 minutes, ending the Lady Blue Jays' season with a 66-46 loss to the host Lady Tigers at Neal Fieldhouse.
