Ryan Shaw stopped the practice.
Shaw - the new Fulton High School boys' basketball coach - halted the proceedings, but not because his players did anything wrong. On the contrary, after his team used a screen, made a crisp pass and finished at the rim, Shaw thought it would be a good way to end Tuesday's pick-up game at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
"It doesn't matter what the score was, we ended the practice on a perfect cut from a perfect pass and a perfect finish," Shaw said from his office after the workout.
Shaw replaces Marques Baldwin, who resigned in May after two seasons with the Hornets to accept an assistant coaching position with the Westminster College Blue Jays.
