Six Callaway County baseball players — including three from Class 2 state champion South Callaway — have been named to their respective 2012 all-state teams by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association.
South Callaway senior Hunter Leeper and freshman Cory Hanger were Class 2 first-team picks, respectively, as a designated hitter/utility player and an outfielder. Senior Konrad Kemper was a second-team selection at catcher.
In Class 3, Fulton sophomore Dalton Horstmeier was a first-team choice as an infielder, while North Callaway seniors Zach Lavy and Collin Brinker were second-team picks, respectively, at pitcher and infielder.
