As part of its “The Way We Worked” annual honors banquet theme, the Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce Friday night honored 49 county businesses and other area entities for more than 50 years of service to the county.
The theme for the annual banquet was “The Way We Worked” before modern conveniences. The theme was chosen to promote a Smithsonian exhibition that opens at the National Churchill Museum in Fulton on Feb. 11.
The Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society is joining in the Smithsonian exhibit and will present a localized exhibit, The Kingdom at Work.
