Many Callaway seniors came out Thursday to investigate the first-ever Senior "Living the Dream" Expo.

The event - put on by SERVE, Inc.'s TEAM RSVP, 55&GO Volunteer Program - was well-attended and about 60 vendors were on hand to provide information and give-aways to visitors. Entertainment and speakers were also included in the day's fare held at the YMCA of Callaway County.

Nyoka Brix, LPN at Fulton Medical Clinic, worked at the clinic's booth Thursday answering questions and handing out information, while Deirdre Huenneke, FMC licensed massage therapist, gave a free massage to their table's visitors. Brix said FMC attends several health fairs every year.

"We just try and get out in the community as much as we can to let the community know what we can offer them," she said.
