— After all the drawn fouls and free throws, the North Callaway Ladybirds completed their fourth-quarter rally on, of all things, a desperation 3-pointer.

Junior forward Mariah Peace flung in a 3-pointer from the right wing with no time left. It was the Ladybirds’ only successful shot from behind the arc and it ended up being the difference-maker in a 47-44 Mid-Missouri Conference win over the Southern Boone Lady Eagles on Thursday night.
