The asphalt driveway paving scam has returned to Callaway County, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Sgt. Bill Akers said the Sheriff’s Office conducted a wide search Thursday morning for a suspected asphalt crew that has been ripping off Callaway County residents.
Akers asked Callaway County residents to be on the lookout for two vehicles that may be involved in the asphalt driveway scam.
One is a white extended cab Chevrolet pickup with “Robinson Tree Service.” painted on the side of the pickup.
The other suspect vehicle is a black Ford pickup with a yellow light on top of the cab.
