Fulton woman hurt in Route Z collision

Camille S. Walker, 31, Fulton, suffered moderate injuries Tuesday when her car was hit head-on by another car on Route Z in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday when a 2003 Chevrolet driven westbound on Route Z, about 1.4 miles west of I-70, by Kimberly D. Linnenbringer, 26, Williamsburg, ran off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, and traveled into the path of Walker's oncoming eastbound 2008 Chevrolet, striking it in the front.

Walker was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries.

The patrol reported both vehicles were damaged moderately and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
