Mokane — The North Callaway Thunderbirds broke down in the final quarter of a 43-37 loss to the South Callaway Bulldogs on Dec. 13.
No such event happened on Tuesday night as No. 5 seed North Callaway edged out No. 4 South Callaway 50-46 in the first round of the South Callaway Tournament.
