Fulton boys basketball coach Marques Baldwin wasn’t yelling. Far from it, actually.
But after a third consecutive loss, the second-year head coach’s voice rang louder, dripping with exasperation.
Frankly, he felt this is one the Hornets should have had.
The Hornets made those plays at the beginning of Friday’s North Central Missouri Conference game against the Moberly Spartans. And they pulled off a few down the stretch.
But the Spartans pulled them off in the mean time and in-between time and the Hornets couldn’t make that final push, falling 60-56 at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
