Kingdom City — California, placing three players in double figures, outscored North Callaway 17-5 in the second quarter Tuesday night to spark the Pintos’ 60-48 victory over the Thunderbirds.
North Callaway led 20-16 after one quarter, but California swung the momentum in its favor in the second quarter and went into halftime with a 33-25 advantage. The Pintos then pushed their lead to 47-36 entering the fourth quarter.
