Riddle nominated to receive Callaway County YMCA Legislative Award

Rep. Jeanie Riddle, R-Mokane, has been nominated to receive the Callaway County YMCA Legislative Award.

Rep. Jeanie Riddle, a Republican, represents the majority of Callaway County (District 20) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Prior to her service in the legislature, Rep. Riddle taught and coached in the South Callaway School District for 28 years, where I knew both her and her husband as a child.

Rep. Riddle attends First Baptist Church in Fulton. She is a member of the following organizations: Missouri Retired Teachers Association, Missouri Farm Bureau, Chamber of Commerce of Callaway County, Rotary Club of Fulton, and the National Rifle Association. Rep. Riddle also serves as Treasurer for the Women Legislators of Missouri.

Rep. Riddle currently resides in Mokane with her husband, Randy, whom serves on the Board for the YMCA of Callaway County. Both Jeanie and Randy have been supporters of the YMCA in all three mission areas. However, Rep. Riddle stands out in the mission area of Social Responsibility. Locally she is an active supporter of numerous community based projects, from dental coalitions, to our YMCA's work within the Pioneering Healthier Communities and our efforts to increase access within our communities to fresh foods and additional fitness venues.

Within the House of Representatives, Rep. Riddle has worked tirelessly on the following issues to make our communities healthier and safe places to live, work and play. These are most demonstrated by her work through the legislative process in child protection and advocacy as well as worker protection and advocacy.
