Eldon — Senior forward Corri Hamilton led the Lady Hornets with 11 points and seven boards in Fulton’s 43-34 loss to the Helias Crusaders in the Class 4, District 10 semifinals at Eldon on Tuesday night. With the defeat, the Lady Hornets end their season at 12-15.
Top-seeded Helias — who beat Fulton 55-30 on Jan. 20 — jumped out to a 21-10 halftime lead and led by 11 points going into the final period but the No. 3 seeded Lady Hornets cut the deficit to three and had a shot at pulling the upset.
