New salon puts "focus on you'

The mother-daughters team in charge of Fulton's newest salon are hoping their intense focus on personal service will help their business stand out to area patrons.

Carmen Munford and her daughters Amber Way and Hannah and Hayley Munford recently opened Churchill Salon and Spa after buying much of the equipment and taking over the lease of the former Wellness Connections Salon at 1309 S. Business 54 in Fulton, across from Sutherland's.

"Our philosophy is, it's all about you," Carmen Munford said, noting that Way - a mother of two young children came up with the idea. "Women today are always busy, and there's just no place where it seems like it's all about taking time for themselves.
