Mitchell L. Atterberry, 34, Fulton, is in Callaway County Jail after city, county and state law enforcement officers chased his vehicle from Holts Summit to Fulton where he eventually was arrested after fleeing from his car west of Fulton.

Fulton Police reported they received a call at 4:56 p.m. Saturday informing them of a high-speed vehicle pursuit coming into Fulton involving a white Pointiac Trans Am with a racing stripe.

The Holts Summit Police Department started the chase in the eastbound lane of U.S. 54. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office joined in the high-speed chase.

Fulton Police located Atterberry in Fulton, where he led law enforcement officers in a wild chase in several directions through Fulton city streets.
