The Fulton School Board have named two new administrators at Fulton Middle School for next year.
With longtime Principal Jeff Wright retiring at the end of the school year, and assistant principal Josh Isaacson taking a position with another district, the board has hired Chris Crane and Chris Daily — currently the assistant principal at Fulton High School — to take over the school.
Superintendent Jacque Cowherd said Crane stood out from the pool of 25 candidates that applied for the middle school principal’s position because “he had great references ... saying really good things about him and how he relates to students.”
Another plus, Cowherd said, is that Crane — who currently is the principal at La Monte Elementary School and also has served as the middle school principal in Hallsville for six years and as a middle school principal and teacher in Sturgeon — has experience with learning communities.

Sounds like two good hires. Let's hope that they both have strong academic backgrounds, ie not former coaches.
