President Obama should apologize to the American people for revealing that Israel is planning an attack on Iran's nuclear capability this spring, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum declared Friday in Fulton.
In a campaign rally appearance that attracted about 800 at William Woods University in Fulton, Santorum drew loud applause from supporters in the nearly full Cutlip Auditorium when he declared President Obama "is the most anti-Israel and anti-Western president when it comes to the Middle East of any president in the history of our country."
"What President Obama did is most reprehensible. He should apologize to the people in this room. He should apologize to the American people for the comments he made. He should be saying "We will stand with you Israel. We will make sure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon, which is by the way the policy of this country, and we will work with you to make sure that this happens.' Instead, he is condemning Israel for doing what they have to do to stop it from happening," Santorum said.
"Iran is the number one killer of our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan," Santorum said. "Improvised explosive devices are manufactured in Iran and contributed to terrorists in both Iraq and Afghanistan."
