Two unnamed juveniles ages 14 and 15 confessed to burglarizing and vandalizing the Reform Baptist church, 8734 State Road CC in Steedman, Callaway County Sheriff's Office officials said.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. Dec. 2, deputies responded to a burglary complaint at the church. The suspects had broken into the church using a back window. There they vandalized the building, spray painting an interior door, and stole various items.
The investigation ultimately lead to the arrest of the two youths who live near the church on Dec. 21. After being interviewed by CCSO deputies, the suspects confessed to the crime and were released to their parents as per the Callaway County Juvenile Office.
