JEFFERSON CITY — You won’t see many better defensive efforts in boys’ varsity basketball than what Chamois did Saturday afternoon.
The Pirates held the New Bloomfield Wildcats to 27 points on 21-percent shooting and forced 20 turnovers in a 51-27 victory in the opening game of the Missouri National Guard Shootout at Fleming Fieldhouse.
