With the filing of Susie Hinrichs, a three-way race has developed for two seats on the New Bloomfield R-3 School District Board of Education.
Hinrichs is the current president of the New Bloomfield Education Foundation, which provides classroom grants to the school.
The two other candidates who have filed for re-election are incumbents Shaun Cockrum and Kathy Becker.
Filings for the office started last Tuesday and will end on Jan. 15, 2013.
The two candidates with the most votes will be elected to three-year terms on the New Bloomfield Board of Education in the April 2, 2013, school board election.
