Filings for the Board of Aldermen in New Bloomfield opened this week and so far only one candidate has filed.
Martha Siegel is seeking another two-year term as a member of the New Bloomfield Board of Aldermen.
Siegel's represents residents in the second ward in New Bloomfield.
If elected, Siegel would serve her fourth two-year term as a member of the board.
Siegel grew up in the city and is a 1964 graduate of New Bloomfield High School.
The only other alderman office up for re-election is the Ward 1 seat now held by Greg Reahagen of New Bloomfield.
City Clerk Terra Guittar said Reahagen has not yet indicated if he plans to seek re-election.
