Clopton — North Callaway girls basketball coach Jack Peace was worried his team’s recent Centralia Tournament championship win might inspire overconfidence in the Ladybirds’ Eastern Missouri Conference opener against Clopton on Monday.
Luckily, there’d be no such occurrence for North Callaway. The Ladybirds jumped out early and didn’t let up in a 64-46 EMO win over the Lady Hawks on Monday night.
