Gas prices in Fulton have dipped to $2.99 a gallon, causing many motorists pulling up to pumps to breath a sigh of relief.

Earlier this year gas prices reached a high of about $3.79 a gallon in Fulton.

According to Gas Buddy, which monitors gas prices nationwide, the average price of gas in Missouri on the same date one year ago was $3.08.
