Lady Hornets lose fourth straight in NCMC opener

The Fulton Lady Hornets are five games into the season and, after Thursday night's North Central Missouri Conference opener against the Marshall Lady Owls, excuses are no longer welcome.

Freshman guard Sloane Totta led Fulton with 16 points and added eight rebounds in the Lady Hornets' 55-46 loss to Marshall. The loss was the fourth in a row for Fulton, which tumbled to 1-4 overall.

"We didn't play defense all night and they had their way with us all night," Lady Hornets head coach TJ Quick said.
