stealing on County Road 403 south of Fulton when a farmer reported a pickup had pulled into his driveway.

The farmer confronted the two suspects, later identified as Levi T. Salmons of Fulton, 24, and Robert M. Allison III of Auxvasse, 25. Salmons and Allison allegedly were loading metal pipe into the back of the truck, and told the farmer they had permission to be on the property.

When the farmer identified himself as the property owner, the suspects fled on foot and left the piping and truck behind.

CCSO conducted an investigation that led to the two's arrest. The Fulton Sun reported on Oct. 28 that Allison had been arrested then for stealing a set of front end loader arms for scrap off County Road 116.

Both are being held at the Callaway County Jail ob $10,000 bond.
