The MUSTANG Drug Task Force, with assistance from several area law enforcement agencies, arrested two New Bloomfield residents after meth and stolen goods were found on their property at 8522 Old Highway 54.
David A. Wyatt, 43, and Chasity L. Wagers, 31, both of New Bloomfield, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. They were held at Callaway County Jail on $20,000 bond each.
The search was carried out Wednesday with the help of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office and the Jefferson City Police Department SWAT and K9 units, as well as the Cole County Sheriff's Office K9 unit, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Rural Crimes Unit. The Missouri Army National Guard air support unit also provided support with a search helicopter.
