While the Fulton Hornets football team will be seeking its first win of the season in Friday’s home opener against Versailles, it will also be looking to beat the rain.
In anticipation of heavy rain being forecast as a remnant of Hurricane Isaac, now downgraded to a tropical storm, Fulton athletic director Dave Milligan announced Wednesday that the start time for Friday’s game has been moved up an hour and a half. Kickoff will now be 5:30 p.m. at Robert E. Fischer Jr. Stadium.
