They were classmates at Fulton High School when they graduated in the same class a quarter century ago.
Both pursued a career in the U.S. Army, both attained the rank of major, and both were reunited recently when both were taking military tactics classes at the same time at the Joint & Combined Warfighting School at the Joint Staff College in Norfolk, Va.
The two former Fulton classmates are Maj. Ned C. Holt and Maj. Jeff Klosterman, both 1987 graduates of Fulton High School.
Holt and Klosterman played together on Fulton High School varsity football and baseball teams.
Holt now is attending classes at the 10-week Joint and Combined Warfighting School and Klosterman just finished a four-week Joint Information Operations Planners Course at the school.
The school is located in the Joint Staff College at Norfolk, Va.
Klosterman and Holt had their photo taken recently in front of the school's crest.
Holt is the son of retired Callaway County Circuit Court Judge Joe D. Holt of Fulton and Molly Stanley of Canton. Holt's father served 16 years as a Callaway County member of the Missouri House of Representatives and eight years as a circuit court judge in Callaway County.
