Dala Dunn of Kingdom City hopes to turn a hobby into a livelihood.
Soul Sentiments, a new scrapbooking, mixed media art and decor store, will be holding a grand opening this weekend at their location in Millersburg. They will offer a variety of products and supplies for scrapbooking and other crafts, as well as classes and sessions oriented towards kids, beginners and experienced scrapbookers alike.
Dunn's personal experience with scrapbooking began about 12 years ago, when her family hosted foreign exchange students.
"I always thought how sad it was that their parents didn't get to see what they were doing abroad, and then scrapbooking just barely kind of started," said Dunn. " I compiled scrapbooks for them to take back home with pictures of things they did when they were here, and when my kids saw that, they wanted scrapbooks of their own, so it opened a whole circle of events."
