Callaway woman named to area Red Cross board

Heather Vodnansky, a Holts Summit attorney, is one of four people appointed recently to the board of directors of the Heart of Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross.

For the last seven years, Vodnansky has been serving as a criminal defense attorney for the Missouri State Public Defenders Office.

Vodnansky grew up in Callaway County and is a graduate of Fulton High School. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Missouri at Warrensburg and a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

For the last two years, Vodnansky has served on the Callaway Leadership Council. She was elected this month as chairman of the leadership group.

Vodnansky is an active member of the First Christian Church in Fulton and was elected to the Callaway County Extension Council. She also is an active member of Master Gardeners.

She and her husband Mike reside in Holts Summit.

Four other new appointments to the board are Bob Toalson of Osage Beach, Jack W. Harvey of Marshall, an Kristi Gratz of Jefferson City.
