Fulton Commons under new ownership

The Fulton Commons Shopping Center in Fulton is now owned by L.W. Partnership, L.P., a firm based in the state of Nevada.

Amber Snider of Columbia, chief financial officer of the Nevada-based investment firm, said the partnership acquired the shopping center recently from Providence Bank of Jefferson City after the bank foreclosed on the previous owner for default of payment of loans on the property.

Snider said the firm is now collecting lease payments from several existing businesses for property it owns in the Fulton Commons area. Snider said L.W. Partnerships now owns buildings leased to Sutherlands Building Materials, Orscheln Farm & Home, Fulton Bowling Center, Senior Apartments, and Big O Tires.

Snider said the firm also owns a small strip mall that includes a Sears store and a church. She said much of the strip mall is now vacant along with a free-standing building it owns near Koelling Family Chiropractic.

Snider said L.W. Partnership does not own some buildings in the shopping center area. They include the buildings occupied by Koelling Family Chiropractic, the Callaway Senior Center, B&B Fulton Cinema 8 movie theater, C&R Market, and the free-standing building occupied previously by a gift shop.
