Senior pitcher Kelsey Schulte and freshman second baseman Sam Parsons played prominent roles in the William Woods University Lady Owls’ AMC sweep of Stephens College.
Schulte tossed a one-hit shutout and struck out six in William Woods’ 5-0 win over Stephens in Thursday’s first game at Backer Field. Parsons then doubled three times and drove in four runs to power the Lady Owls’ 8-0 triumph in the nightcap.
