The Callaway County Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspicious death of Adam E. Keith, 20, of Auxvasse. Sheriff Dennis Crane said Keith's body was found early Friday morning along County Road 132, east of Fulton. He said the cause of death is unknown, and an autopsy is being conducted.
Friday afternoon, Crane put out a press release saying investigators interviewed three people claiming to have been with Keith when he jumped out of a vehicle as they were traveling on County Road 132.
As of Friday afternoon no arrests had been made, but Crane said investigators believe alcohol and/or drugs may be a contributing factor in this case.
