Cooked apple butter was one of the attractions at the annual Fall Festival at the First Christian Church in Fulton. Fisher said it takes about four hours in the hot kettle to convert cooked apple sauce to apple butter. He cooked four batches and then bottled and sold pint jars for $4. All proceeds from the event. which also included a silent auction, went to church ministries.
