Two incentives have been added this year to encourage Callaway County students to collect pennies to help the Callaway County United Way achieve its annual $260,000 fund-raising goal.

Twelve Callaway County schools are collecting pennies for the annual Penny Drive to benefit the United Way.

Students collecting the most for their classes present the money to the United Way during the Kick-off and Radiothon on Friday that marks the start of the annual United Way fund-raising drive.

The annual KFAL Radiothon event will be from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the parking lot in front of Walmart.
