County to pave CR 345 between Hatton, Auxvasse

The Callaway County Commission Thursday afternoon approved repaving of three miles of County Road 345 west of Auxvasse.

Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer said the commission approved a low bid of $154,744 from APAC-MO, a Columbia paving firm, to apply a one-inch asphalt overlay for three miles.

The other bid on the project came from Christensen Construction of Millersburg, which offered a bid of $163,857.

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann said county work crews recently replaced three culverts on the road, which is located south of State Road E and north of State Road FF between Hatton and Auxvasse.
