Second warrant served on Callaway, Audrain burglaries

The Callaway and Audrain county sheriff’s offices recovered a large amount of stolen property while serving a search warrant in the Kingdom City area Wednesday, including a number of guns. KINGDOM CITY — More stolen property was recovered in connection with a string of home burglaries in Callaway and Audrain counties as a second warrant was served near Kingdom City Wednesday.

Deputies with both the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office, as well as agents with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) spent the day sorting through and cataloguing items that had been reported stolen from both jurisdictions — including a large number of guns, hunting equipment and two motorcycles — as well as property reported missing in Florissant and Montgomery County.
