South Callaway blasts New Haven in three-inning win

The Lady Bulldogs made quick work of New Haven, winning 20-0 in three innings at home on Monday night. South Callaway pounded out 15 hits and put up 11 and nine runs in the first two innings.

Senior first baseman Shannon Perrigo was 3-for-3 with three RBI and a second-inning home run. Sophomore Bailey Ward also had three hits and three RBI while falling a home run short of the cycle.

Junior left fielder Jenna Boulger had two hits and drove in four while senior catcher Miranda Adams had two hits and a pair of RBI. Sophomore pitcher Abby Bartley pitcher all three innings and allowed three hits and struck out five batters.

The Lady Bulldogs captured the North Callaway Tournament title with a 5-1 win over Linn in the tournament final on Saturday. South Callaway swept through all three games and improved its record to 9-3 on the season.
