A review by a financial consultant hired by the New Bloomfield R-3 School District shows the district is meeting budget goals for the current fiscal year, the district's school board was told Thursday night.
Superintendent David Tramel said he met with consultant Jason Hoffman to study the district's budget to make sure spending patterns are matching the budget plan.
"Everything is working out well," Tramel said. "The budget is accurate and we are on track. Next month I plan to present some budget revisions to the board."
Tramel said he has been advised by contractors that it is too late in the year to apply asphalt on the parking lot and planned work should wait until next spring.
