Holts Summit The Board of Aldermen at its special meeting here Monday tabled two issues, expecting to hear much public comment in the coming weeks.
The first issue is an amendment to the city code’s commercial zoning regulations.
Holts Summit currently has a flexible zoning code in which retail and commercial developers can build on sites zoned for industrial property.
The alleged problem lies in the fact the code also allows for residential development on industrial property.
During discussion of the proposed bill, Alderwoman Pamela Murray said the bill was at least 10 years overdue.
