Members of the Mid-Missouri MUSTANG Drug Task Force and the Callaway County Sheriff's Office Friday arrested David L. Williams of Auxvasse on three drug charges.

The task force also later arrested two Jefferson City residents on cocaine charges. The three are believed to be connected in distributing cocaine in Central Missouri.

The Sheriff's Office reported they found 30 grams of crack cocaine and 15 grams of powder cocaine at the address occupied by Williams.

Williams has been charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor in connection with the incident.

One felony is second-degree trafficking in drugs and the other is described as distributing, delivering, manufacturing, producing or attempting to do so or possessing with intent to distribute, manufacture or produce a controlled substance.

The misdemeanor charge filed against Williams is unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

His cash-only bond was set at $20,000 and Williams was still in jail on Saturday.
