Social service veteran named interim director at SERVE

The Board of Directors for SERVE, Inc. has named Brenda Rose as the organization’s interim executive director.

Rose, who recently retired after 16 years as the community services supervisor for the Callaway Family Resource Center (CMCA), will temporarily take over for Lisa Brown, who left SERVE to become bureau chief of the Missouri WIC (Women, Infants, Children) program.

Board member Matt Kuhl said the SERVE Board settled on Rose as the interim director because of her years of experience with CMCA, and also because she has previous experience with SERVE, having worked there in a variety of roles from 1990 to 1995.
