NoCal school bus collides with SUV

A Tuesday morning accident involving a North Callaway School bus resulted in a Fulton woman and a student being transported to University Hospital in Columbia.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. the Fulton Police Department was called to the scene of an accident involving a school bus and an SUV on Highway 54 at the intersection of County Road 210.

According to the report, the bus — driven by Patricia Klott, 54, of Warrenton — was traveling westbound on the crossover at the intersection when it failed to yield to the SUV — driven by Becky Crocker, 48, of Fulton — and the two vehicles collided.

“(Klott) thought she had time to make it,” said Lt. Lyla Robbins with the FPD. “It was a horrific mess on the highway: We had the vehicles involved in the accident, and we also had parents stopping in the middle of the highway to get their kids.”
