With freezing temperatures on the way, The Fulton Sun is seeking to make sure that all Callaway County children have the opportunity to bundle up against the cold.

The newspaper is hoping readers and area residents will come to its office, located at 115 E. Fifth St. in Fulton, and help decorate the Fulton Sun Warming Tree with hats, gloves, scarves, mittens and socks to be donated to SERVE, Inc.

“We’re asking for ... anything to keep them warm this winter,” said marketing manager Pati McDonald. “We’ll start taking things the end of this week through Dec. 16.”
