A warrant has been requested for a Jefferson City woman whom officials say admitted to stealing a car in Callaway County Tuesday morning following a brief pursuit by authorities in the capital.
According to information from the Jefferson City Police Department, the chase began around 11:25 a.m., starting in the area of Mulberry and Dunklin streets. Eventually the chase ended up at Myrtle Avenue and MoDOT Drive, about 10 minutes later, and a man and woman were taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
